Nice place to stop and stay. Rooms are a little tired. But I've seen worse. They are clean and the views are amazing. Food was good. A bit cheeky on price. But it is a tourist area. I'd definitely stay again.

Arrived and checked in early, waited a few minutes as nobody on the desk, but that’s no issue. Room was clean and all the amenities that you would expect. Staff were friendly and the hotel is conventionally located. Paid extra for the breakfast on arrival which was £10.00 (usually a buffet but because it’s quieter you just order) plus all other continental style foods. Had food and drinks in the bar area which is a decent size. Sadly the food lets it down, I blame this probably to the supplier and not the chef. The Chicken Tika Masala was ok as was the rice and naan, but it was clearly not home made. Again breakfast was ok, but quality of cooked food not the best, again it’s probably what is supplied. Not sure why it was half a black pudding for breakfast? But you can only expect to base it on the price and the star of the hotel, so a solid 4 star

Just come back from a New Year trip with Shearings. The hotel was so nice and clean. The food was delicious and the vegetarian choice was good, I enjoyed every meal. The staff are absolutely amazing and so helpful and friendly. It was lovely to see that dogs are welcome and I made a lot of new furry friends. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. New Years Eve singer was perfect as well as Cameron on the bagpipes...I will definitely be back.

The location is very good if you want to go hiking on Ben Nevis. In front of the hotel, you can walk on the stone beach, have a picnic, and enjoy the sunset and nature. In the morning, you can go for a run if you cross the road and use the sidewalk.

The hotel is a little bit tired and the rooms could definitely have been cleaner. The staff were lovely and inviting. The shower was powerful but liberal with it's directionality.

First time visited Highland and chose this hotel for my stay. Got a room with stunning lake view (Loch Linnhe. Just 2-3 minutes drive from Fort William. This nice and cozy stay is in the lap of magical mountain. Comfortable and ambient lounge with amazing staffs.

Amazing Lake view The cleanliness of the rooms, the staff, and the location are all 10/10. The food is tasty. Just a heads-up for anyone allergic to dogs: the hotel allows puppies in the hotel and bar (they likely have designated rooms). It didn’t bother us at all—no noise. The hotel is very quiet and comfortable, and free parking is included with no extra charge.

Went here on a mystery coach, the location was absolutely stunning! Due to the volume of people arriving they were unable to get people checked in upon arrival (half an hour after check in began) but staff tried their best to get everyone sat in the bar, a few of us still had to stand, but if you're not fast you're last!! Lol Staff offered advice when I asked however I was given the wrong time for breakfast starting, which led to me arriving late and dealing with long queues. The rooms were great for the night we stayed, but the window was quite dirty and on one of the corners the carpet was not laid down correctly. There is no room service but there is a menu of food that can be ordered and you take it back to your room. This service was quite expensive, from about 17-25 pounds for a meal, i didn't order anything so cannot speak of the quality of the food, and admittedly the quality or quantity of the food may justify this price tag. The package we got came with a 3 course meal, food was brought out quite slowly, first the main meal, our tables ticket got lost in the kitchen and staff did apologise profusely but it was about 50 mins between our starter and main. What we did eat was really nice, but the portion felt like both the starter and main were more salad than the protein you ordered. Overall it was a fab experience! I'm so glad I got to try this out with my wee package deal, I probably wouldn't go back because quite a few things did go wrong, but I cannot complain about the staff, they were apologetic and helpful! The view out my window was just into a random back garden, so I didn't take any pictures out the window, but I have attached some photos from the front door
